These questions pulse through the book now this duo is ready to publish! Venus and Her Lover – Transforming Myth, Sexuality, and Ourselves is the first book of a larger Tantric art project (Venus and Her Lover – Transcending the Myth); this 700-page book is the travel adventure story of two artists driven by destiny to explore the mysteries of the Feminine and the Masculine, and where they meet, in sexuality.

Their quest took them around the world, where they experienced how different cultures have interpreted Man and Woman – through myths, both ancient and modern (Venus and Mars, Adam and Eve, or Isis and Osiris, for example). The journey challenged their ability to survive as a couple, and to stay true to their spiritual truths.

Wherever their family lived, James painted mythological stories, and Becca wrote about what she was learning, always following the trail of how their cultural relationship dysfunction began — why all the shame and guilt? — and how to attain satisfaction and integrity within their own relationships.
