Friday the 13th is upon us. We are going to take this 'bad luck' date to look at a film with a provocative premise that is full of bad luck for everyone in it!

Our film is PROMETHEUS.

What intrigues me about this film is introducing us to the notion that our human genetics were deliberately 'created' by a more advanced, off-world energy. Great premise for a sci-fi feature.

I think this is going to be a rotten tomatoes fest, but hey — let's have some fun with the hodge-podge of elements. And, of course, we can critique the film-making itself.

But you gotta admit, that first scene? It's a doozey.
